Loading ...Jackie Wilson At The Copa is the only live album by Jackie Wilson that I know about.
It was recorded at the Copacabana in New York and released in 1962.
While I think of Jackie Wilson as a soul and R&B artist, this album seems to be close to the light jazz/lounge category. Like Sam Cooke when he performed at the Copa, I suspect that Jackie Wilson eased up on his performance for the audience.
Ella In Hollywood is a live album by Ella Fitzgerald.
It was recorded at the Cresendo club in Los Angeles at concerts held on May 11 to May 21, 1961.

It was recorded on April 25, 1958 in Italy with a jazz trio led by Lou Levy. The last track Stompin’ at the Savoy has Ella backed by the Oscar Peterson trio. It was released ion 1988.
This was Ella’s 41st birthday.

It was recorded in New York on April 23rd, 1961 and was released later the same year.
This album was a triumphant return from illness caused by drug and alcohol abuse. It was a huge success staying at #1 in America for 13 weeks. It also won five Grammy awards.
Randy Crawford and Joe Sample Live With Steve Gadd and Nicolas Sample is a live album recorded on the tour of Europe in 2008 and released in 2012.
Joe Sample was a founder member and pianist for the Crusaders. He died on September 12, 2014.
