    1. If you’re a Joni Mitchell fan, I recommend you start with the two official live albums, Miles of Aisles (a traditional sounding album) and Shadows & Light, which is jazzy.

While reading David Yaffe’s great bio of her creative and person journey, I listened to each of her albums in sequence, simultaneous to his deep analysis of same chapter in her life. I highly recommend that combination. Plan to do it with other musicians’ biographies and memoirs, like Dylan‘s memoir “Chronicles”, which I’ve already read but may redo as I listen “Chronologically” too.
