Nothing Is Easy: Live at the Isle of Wight 1970 is a live album by Jethro Tull. I think you can work out that this is another live recording from the famous live festival – a British version of Woodstock if you like.

Taste Live Taste 1970
Live Taste is the first live album from Rory Gallagher and Taste. It was recorded at the Montreux Casino in Switzerland in 1970 before it was burnt down and immortalised in the Deep Purple song, Smoke On The Water.
There is considerable crossover between the set lists on Live Taste and Taste Live At The Isle Of Wight also recorded in 1970.

Jimi Hendrix Band of Gypsys Live At The Fillmore East 1970
Band of Gypsys catches Jimi Hendrix playing live on 31st December 1969 and 1st January 1970 at the Fillmore East in New York. A new decade starts with a big bang.
Hendrix had broken up the Jimi Hendrix Experience and is now backed by Billy Cox and Buddy Miles.
Band of Gypsys was the last album to be released in his lifetime and well before the many live albums that have since come out in his name.
Hendrix played four sets over two days which have been the basis for two Jimi Hendrix live albums – Band Of Gypsys and Live At The Fillmore.

Taste Live At The Isle Of Wight 1970
Taste Live At the Isle Of Wight was recorded at the big festival on the island in 1970 and showcases Rory Gallagher’s guitar playing.
Rory Gallagher has been one of the main inspirations behind this Best Live Albums blog because I think his Irish Tour 74 album is terrific.
I was listening to the CD and thought that more people need to know about this fantastic live music.
Taste is an earlier 3 piece band with Rory Gallagher on guitar and lead vocals, Richard “Charlie” McCracken on bass and John Wilson on drums.
