I’ve been featuring the videos from Pete Pardo from the Sea of Tranquility website and here are his thoughts about Bachman Turner Overdive.
BTO never released a classic live album in the 1970s, which I think is a shame. They are an under-rated band, especially in the UK where the success of their single You Ain’t Seen Nuthin’ Yet overshadows everything else they’ve done.
I will point to the 2012 Bachman & Turner live album, Live At The Roseland Ballroom which is excellent in terms of songs selected, performance and sound quality.

Live At The BBC is a compilation of live recordings of Status Quo made by the BBC between 1966 and 2005.
It comes in three different versions:
- 2 CD best of
- 4 CD box-set
- limited edition box-set of 7 CDs and a DVD
The DVD of Status Quo live at the BBC is also sold separately.
This page looks at the two CD version which is for everyone except Quo addicts who want more or even everything.

It was recorded at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham, England on May 4, 2004.

The majority of the album was recorded in Dublin on 12th April 2014 at their last ever show.
The four members of Quo who had so much success in the UK in the 1970s reunited in 2013.

It was recorded at the Fox Theater in St. Louis, Missouri on June 6, 1999.
This album has been repackaged as Extended Versions with a different song order and one song less but stick with this if you want a good selection of their live albums.
