Live At The Marquee August 10th 1971 is an archive released live album by King Crimson.
The band at this stage was Robert Fripp, Mel Collins, Boz Burrell and Ian Wallace. It’s not the most respected of line-ups but this is well worth hearing.

There’s an overwhelming number of live albums from King Crimson which have plenty of variety as the composition of the band changes around Robert Fripp. This makes it very tough for the casual Crimson fan to find two or three of their best live albums. This is especially true when you can’t hear samples at Amazon or iTunes and they don’t feature on Spotify. To help, you’ll find a readers poll below where fans have voted for the best Crimson live recordings.
While the 1973/74 band is often considered to be their peak, and the poll reflects this, you may want to spread your albums around to capture the variety within the band.
