Lounge is the term I’m going to use for a category of music that might otherwise be described as easy listening, rat pack style crooners and light jazz.
I’m thinking of legends like Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Tony Bennett all the way through to Harry Connick Jr and then Michael Bublé.
It’s not an area that I know much about but I normally know it when I hear it.
