In the mid 1970s there were three British rock and soul singers who weren’t getting the success they deserved – Jess Roden, Frankie Miller and Robert Palmer. Palmer became a big star in the 1980s.

I remember Frankie Miller, Jess Roden and Robert Palmer being grouped together in the mid 1970s as British soul/blues/rock singers who deserved more success. Palmer is the one who managed to get most attention but even he didn’t get the rewards he deserved.
