Avalon Ballroom, San Francisco, November 2nd 1968 is an archive released live album by The Byrds.
I find it hard to remember the changes to the band’s membership but at this stage, The Byrds were Roger McGuinn (guitar), Clarence White (guitar), Gene Parsons (drums) and John York (bass). keeping up with their styles as they moved from folk rock to psychedelic rock to country rock to a mix of everything. This has strong country influences

The album has been criticised for its sound but overall, I don’t think it’s bad for its time although there a few songs which sound less clear. You can judge for yourself by listening to the mp3 samples at amazon.co.uk
