Reckoning is an acoustic live album by the Grateful Dead.
It was recorded in September and October 1980. It was mainly recorded at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco and at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
There is a companion album called Dead Set which collects together electric performances from the same concerts.

This makes a charming contrast to their normal live recordings full of electric guitar improvisations.
The version I have only has the original sixteen songs on it and as I’ve acquired more Dead albums, I’ve started to regard this as a novelty when I feel like something different. It is doing very well in my poll (see below) to find the best live album by the Grateful Dead but it isn’t one of my main “go to” albums.
