The Last Roundup was the third live album planned to be released by country rock band Poco after Deliverin‘ from 1970 and Poco Live in ’74.
It was recorded live in July 1977 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in California during the Indian Summer tour.
Plans to release it were suspended when Tim Schmit announced that he was leaving to join The Eagles to replace former Poco member Randy Meisner. It was finally issued in November 2004.

It’s such a shame that this was held back because it’s a terrific album and I think it would have helped fans of The Eagles investigate their new member’s back catalogue.
