Newport ’63 is a live album by John Coltrane.
As the title suggests, this was recorded at the famous Newport Jazz Festival on Rhode island July 7, 1963 with the exception of the last track which came from the Village Vanguard, New York City on November 2, 1961.

John Coltrane – tenor and soprano saxophones
McCoy Tyler – piano
Jimmy Garrison – bass
Roy Haynes – drums

John Coltrane – tenor saxophone
Eric Dolphy – alto saxophone
Reggie Workman – bass
Roy Haynes – drums
