At The Savoy Ballroom is a live album by the Count Basie Orchestra.
It was recorded in Harlem, New York in 1937.
The album features Billie Holiday on several on the songs – They Can’t Take That Away From Me and Swing Brother Swing , Jimmy Rushing on one and Lester Young is in the orchestra. The final song – Lover Man – also features Billie Holiday but this time she’s backed by the Toots Camarata Orchestra and not the Basie Orchestra.
