Edgar & Johnny Winter Together 1975

Together is a live album by brothers Edgar Winter and Johnny Winter.

It was recorded in 1975 on the same tour as Johnny Winter’s Captured Live album and was released in 1976.

From what I’ve read, it seems that on that tour, both brothers would perform their own sets and then finish the evening with a combined set. I think that sounds a great idea and it’s a shame that there isn’t a complete concert recording of the two Winter brothers.

Whilst Johnny Winter was the regular guitar hero playing blues rock, Edgar Winter, a keyboard player and saxophonist was playing more of a R&B blend of blues and rock&roll.
