- Tracks 1 to 5 were recorded for BBC Radio 1’s In Concert at Hammersmith Odeon on 14th October 1978.
- Tracks 6 and 7 were recorded for BBC Radio 1’s In Concert at Glasgow Jazzfest on 4th July 1991.
- Tracks 8 to 12 were recorded for BBC Radio 2’s In Concert at Fairfield Halls, Croydon and were first broadcast on 20th June 1998.
- Tracks 13 and 14 were recorded for BBC Radio 1’s Andy Kershaw Show at the Maida Vale studios and first broadcast on 30th March 1989.
