Stompin’ Room Only catches The Marshall Tucker Band in concert in 1977 when the live album was originally intended to be released. The launch was delayed and then the tapes were lost.
Since 2003 we have this piece of live Southern rock to enjoy.
One reviewer on Amazon argued that this wasn’t all previously unreleased material. Evidently Ramblin’ and 24 Hours At A Time have previously appeared on the album Where We All Belong and The Thrill is Gone appeared on one of the Volunteer Jam albums.
I’m not an expert in The Marshall Tucker Band so I can’t confirm or refute what has been said. It doesn’t matter to me and I don’t think it will do to most people who consider buying this live album. I’m just looking to hear what The Marshall Tucker Band were like in 1976.

This Ol’ Cowboy
Searchin’ For A Rainbow
Heard It In A Love Song (not on the album)
That’s more live videos than I would usually include but I think the Marshall Tucker band are a terrific Southern rock group.
