This category recognises the influence that Country & Western music has on rock music.
I must admit that this isn’t my strongest area of musical knowledge as I live in the UK.
I can recognise the influential twang of country but I need your help to guide readers to the best of country and country rock.
I’m not even clear where country rock ends and country, bluegrass or Americana begins. As I learnt move, I split country away from country rock.

Live At The BBC is a live album by Steve Earle.
It was recorded at The Town & Country Club in London on 29 November 1988.
A live album from this concert recording was originally released as BBC Radio 1 Live in Concert in 1992. Live At The BBC was issued in 2009 with all thirteen songs from this concert plus four songs recorded live in Manchester on 16 April 1987.
Live From The Women’s Club Vol. 1 is an acoustic live album by The Jayhawks.
It was recorded at The Women’s Club in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 26, 2002.
This was self-released by The Jayhawks and isn’t on a record label which means that distribution is limited.

Live At The Boarding House: The Complete Boarding House Shows is a live album box-set by Jerry Garcia and his bluegrass group Old & In The Way.
It was recorded in San Francisco on October 1st and 8th, 1973.
Much of this album has been previously released on the albums Old & In The Way (1975), That High Lonesome Sound (1996) and Breakdown (1997). The complete October 8th concert was released in 2008 on an album called Live At The Boarding House.
It’s said that 14 of these songs have never been released before.
