Rockin’ Every Night – Live in Japan is a live album by Gary Moore and his band.

It was recorded at Shinjuku Kousei Nenkin Hall in Tokyo on 24–25 January 1983. This was when he was promoting the Corridors of Power studio album and was during his hard rock stage.

It was released in Japan in 1983 but it took another three years to get a release in Europe.

If you know Gary Moore through his blues rock albums that he recorded from around 1990 onwards, then this is a more basic rock style as he tried to exploit his time with Thin Lizzy.

Dio At Donnington 1983 & 1987 is a live album by Dio, the American heavy metal group featuring Ronnie James Dio of Rainbow and Black Sabbath fame.

As the name indicates, it was recorded from two appearances at the Monsters of Rock festival in Donnington, England on August 20, 1983 and August 22, 1987.

These recordings were finally released in 2010 after the death of Ronnie James Dio.

Don’t be put off by the blatant commercial appeal of the title. It’s a better live album experience than you might expect from the name.

It was recorded at The Summit in Houston on November 5, 1981 and The Budokan in Tokyo, Japan on March 2, 1983. but not released until March 1998.

The Live In Houston 1981: The Escape Tour came from the night before at Houston.
