Live At Rockpalast is a CD and DVD by Joe Jackson.
This collects together three live performances from Germany:
- Grugahalle in Essen, April 16th/17th 1983 (all CD 1 and track 1 CD 2)
- WDR Studio in Cologne, March 14th 1980 (CD 2 tracks 2 to 9)
- Markthalle in Hamburg, February 21st 1983 (CD 2 tracks 10 to 14)

There is a dispute between Discogs and Amazon on whether I’m The Man (track 1 CD 2) comes from Cologne or Essen.
This is a lot of Joe Jackson (and the DVD option has even more) and inevitably there is some duplication. The track listing is a little deceptive as the Motown medley is split into the separate songs on CD 1 but combined on CD 2.
I also don’t like the way that the 1980 songs are sandwiched in between the 1983 concerts. I’d prefer to see the songs in date order so you can see how the band has progressed.
There are a few recordings of early Joe Jackson but I don’t think you need to duplicate so if you have Live 1980-1986 or the BBC 1979 to 1983 collection, I don’t think you need this.
