More Guitar is a live album by Richard Thompson which was recorded at two concerts in Washington DC in November 1988. His Amnesia studio album was released the previous month.
As the name suggests, the emphasis is on Thompson’s prowess with the electric guitar although I should emphasise that it’s always within the structure of the songs and it doesn’t turn into the excess that you might hear on heavy rock albums.
Recorded on the 1986 Power Windows and 1988 Hold Your Fire tours and released in January 1989.
Live At The Town And Country 1988 is a live album by Gil Scott-Heron.
