Live Loud & Loose is a live compilation album by Canadian AOR band Loverboy that collects together songs from concerts in 1982, 1983 and 1986.
The band were popular in Canada and the United States in the early 1980s but made little impact in the UK so I have no connection with them.
The album has been re-released in 2011 under a different title – Setlist The Very Best of Loverboy Live.

The songs came from the following concerts:
- Tracks 1, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11 were recorded at the Pittsburgh Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 27 February 1986.
- Tracks 2, 13, 14 were recorded at the LaCrosse Center in LaCrosse, Wisconsin on 26 July 1983.
- Tracks 3, 5, 9 were recorded at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, Britich Columbia on 1 May 1982.
- Tracks 8, 12 were recorded at the Cincinnati Gardens in Cincinnati, Ohio on 28 February 1986.
The very commerciality that made Loverboy popular causes an instant negative reaction in me. I find this AOR category hard to like beyond Boston although I’ve eventually learnt to appreciate Journey as well.
