Home Service are British folk band formed by members of the Albion Band and were active in the early to mid 1980s.
Vocalist John Tams is best known for his role in the Sharpe films on TV with Sean Bean. Tams played rifleman Daniel Hagman. He also wrote the songs for the War Horse musical.
Home Service are unusual for a folk rock band because of their extensive use of brass instruments.
