These Frank Zappa recordings are always interesting and, as he recorded all his shows and he was involved in these selections, you can be confident that these are amongst his finest work.
My only problem is how many Zappa live albums does a casual fan really need? Obviously more than one but how many more? I find that I go through Zappa periods during which time, everyone else sounds very ordinary but then there are more times when I just thing it’s strange.Great musicianship but still too odd for me to listen to regularly.
