What Do You Want From Live is a live album by The Tubes.
It was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in London in November 1977.
The Tubes, with lead singer Fee Waybill, were an outrageous live act that was the basis for their popularity. Their recording success was limited to their albums creeping into the top 50 on the album charts in the UK and USA.

In my mind, The Tubes were linked into the punk rock and new wave scene because of their outrageousness and their songs about punks but their music is more traditional.
They remind me of Frank Zappa because of their parodies and satires without the virtuoso musicianship. I’m not saying that The Tubes were untalented, just that they don’t have the technical expertise that Zappa required.
I never saw The Tubes in concert but the music was only half the show. Here they are on the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1977.
