What Is The Best Gary Moore Live Album?

Gary Moore is probably best known for his time with Thin Lizzy and for his single successes with Phi Lynott on Parisienne Walkways and Out In The Fields.

However he was a guitarist of great variety playing with Irish blues rock group Skid Row, progressive jazz rock group Colosseum II and he produced a string of both hard rock and blues rock studio albums.

He was probably at his best in front of an audience.

The Best Blues Rock Live Albums

It’s probably unfair but I think Moore was more successful as a blues rock singer and guitarist than he was in his time playing hard rock.

I’m not sure whether that’s because it’s much more popular for rock guitarists to be part of groups while blues guitarists can perform with a backing band.
