Jeff Beck Live + is a live album by Jeff Beck with two new studio tracks added at the end.
It was recorded on his 2014 tour with the following band:
- Jeff Beck – lead guitar
- Jimmy Hall – vocals (the lead singer from Wet Willie),
- Nicolas Meier – guitar
- Rhonda Smith – bass,
- Jonathan Joseph – drums
The new studio tracks have guest vocals from Ruth Lorenzo and Veronica Bellino.

I realise that this is going to upset the Jeff Beck purists, but I welcome more songs with vocals on this album. I tend to have trouble getting to like instrumental albums although I’m happy with long instrumental breaks.
Some people dislike Jimmy Hall’s singing and accuse him of shouting. He’s not the most subtle of vocalists and he knows he’s competing with the power of Beck’s guitar which is as good as you expect.
