Live Albums By Joe Bonamassa
For many years I ignored modern blues rock, believing that it couldn’t possibly be as good as the magic albums from the 1960s and 1970s. Joe Bonamassa helped me to see the error of my ways and whilst modern blues rock may rarely hit the very highest of pleasures, it has plenty to offer to those who are willing to listen. Releasing my mental block helped me to “discover” Warren Haynes / Gov’t Mule and Derek Trucks and others.

Tour De Force Live in London – The Borderline is a live album and video by blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa.
In 2013 Bonamassa and his band performed concerts at four very different venues in London – Royal Albert Hall, Hammersmith Apollo, Shepherd s Bush Empire and The Borderline. Each has become a live album that was released in 2014.
Inevitably this move has been criticised by some as more driven by motives of profit than music. That is of course up to the individual fan to decide whether any of all of these are to become part of his or her music collection.
The concert at The Borderline is the most intimate as it only holds about 200 people and tickets were extremely expensive to get this close to Bonamassa.

The article includes a readers poll to find the best Joe Bonamassa live album.
Joe Bonamassa is an American blues rock guitarist who has been influenced by the British blues rock artists of the 1960s and 1970s like Eric Clapton and Rory Gallagher.
He’s mainly been a solo artist rather than a member of a group although he did join Glenn Hughes to create Black Country Communion to play 1970s style heavy rock.
From his very first album he’s received success as a blues artist and all have been in the top 10 of the American blues chart. From 2006, his studio albums have gone to #1 of the blues album chart. Gradually he’s achieved more recognition in the general album charts in America, the UK and many other countries. Continue reading Best Joe Bonamassa Live Album
