Out of John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers came Eric Clapton, Peter Green and Mick Taylor while the Yardbirds helped to develop Clapton, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck.

Blue Floyd are a jam band featuring Allen Woody and Matt Abts from Gov’t Mule, Berry Oakley from The Allman Brothers, Mark Ford on lead guitar with The Black Crows and Johnny Neil the keyboard player from Dickey Betts Band and The Allman Brothers.
They interpret Pink Floyd songs in a different way with an emphasis on blues improvisations. Govt Mule have also done this on their album Dark Side Of The Mule.
