Crossroads 2 Live In The Seventies is a live album boxset by Eric Clapton.
While there are a few studio tracks, the majority of this 4 CD set consists of previously unreleased recordings of Eric Clapton and his band performing live from 1974 to 1978.
Whilst this is probably too much for the casual fans of his solo work in the 1970s, it is an exciting collection for devoted fans.

A very extensive compilation of live recordings by Eric Clapton makes a compelling case that there was more life in his post Derek & The Dominos albums than you might have expected.
I’ve said it before but his popularity has led to an unfair backlash. He’s an easy target to knock with his best studio albums so early in his recording career.

Is this the best live album by Eric Clapton?
Loading ...The new laid back version of Clapton that we saw in the mid to late 1970s probably doesn’t create enough guitar fireworks to quality for the best blues rock live albums poll even though there is plenty of excellent guitar playing on this recording.
