To help you to find albums that you like, I have organised this website around genres of music with the general guideline that albums should only belong to one or two genres.
My classic rock section consists of albums that are generally successful and don’t belong in one of the more specialised categories. Often groups will start in one category and as they become more successful, they broaden out their sound and become classic rock.

Reflection is a compilation album and DVD of live recordings by Roxy Music.
The songs were recorded for the German Television programme called Musikladen. This includes songs that go back to Brian Eno’s time with the band.

Live At The Isle Of Wight Festival is a live album and DVD by The Moody Blues.
It was recorded in August 1970 at the famous festival that has also produced live albums by The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Jethro Tull, Emerson Lake & Palmer and Taste.

Live At The BBC is a live compilation album of the Electric Light Orchestra recorded by the BBC between 1973 and 1976.
Some Girls Live In Texas ’78 is a live album and DVD by The Rolling Stones.
It was recorded at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas on July 18th, 1978.

Live At Ebbets Field 1976 is a live album by Tommy Bolin.
It was recorded in Brooklyn, New York City on May 13, 1976.

Live in San Francisco is a live album by Neil Young and Crazy Horse.
It was recorded at the Cow Palace on October 22, 1978. This concert provided the music for the Rust Never Sleeps film. Essentially it is an unofficial version of Live Rust with the missing songs – Thrasher and Welfare Mother – restored.
The unofficial album has been released on the 101 Distribution label for the vinyl release and Immortal for the CD.

Ultrasonic The New York Broadcast 1972 is a live recording by Lou Reed.
It was recorded at the Ultrasonic studios in New York in December 1972, a month after the release of the Transformer studio album. It was broadcast on WLIR and has been released on the FM Concert Broadcasts label.

If you want a great live album by Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band then first buy Live Bullet and Nine Tonight. Both are terrific.
