Bonnett sings Dio isn’t as bad as I feared but I’m not sure how many fans followed Rainbow as their style changed. Will people who love Since You’ve Been Gone appreciate the guitar pyrotechnics from Blackmore?
The sound quality has been criticised so I recommend that you listen to the mp3 samples before committing yourself if you’re an avid Ritchie Blackmore fan. I’ve found that we all have quality thresholds that are different but, if an album doesn’t meet them, then it is considered as unlistenable.

I don’t have a separate best live album for Rainbow but I have included the Ritchie Blackmore albums in the ex-members of Deep Purple poll. It’s a very varied list and whilst Blackmore and Coverdale’s albums have received the most attention, I think it’s well worth investigating Glenn Hughes and Tommy Bolin.
