It pulls together live performances from four sources:
- Rainbow Theatre on 4th March 1981
- Reading Festival on 29th August 1981
- BBC Radio 1’s “Friday Rock Show” from 1982
- Nottingham concert in March 1981

Inevitably with concert recordings so close together, there is considerable repetition between the CDs with three versions of classic Gillan songs like Mutually Assured Destruction, Second Sight and Mutually Assured Destruction.
It’s not normally something I like but what makes this more interesting is the contrast between Bernie Torme who performed at the Rainbow Theatre in 1981 and his replacement, Janick Gers (who later joined Iron Maiden) on the 1981 Reading Festival recording.
