Bachman & Turner Live At The Roseland Ballroom NYC 2012

Live At The Roseland Ballroom NYC is a live album by Bachman & Turner. It is also available as a DVD.

It was recorded in 2012.

The band couldn’t tour as Bachman-Turner Overdrive because it is said that Randy Bachman transferred the rights to the BTO name to Rob Bachman, Blair Thornton and Fred Turner when he left the group.

It may not have been legally BTO but I’m pretty sure that most fans saw this as the return of the 1970s group as Bachman and Turner were the two lead vocalists and played lead guitar and bass respectively.

Unlike many acts from the 1970s, I don’t think BTO contributed a defining live album and this offers an excellent collection of songs and the benefits of modern recording techniques.

What Do You Think?

Is this the best of the BTO family live albums?

BTO are pone of the groups that fall into my boogie rock genre that lies between blues rock and heavy metal.

I have included it in what I call the second division. There are so many good hard rock live albums and I need to reflect that whilst also keeping the polls down to a manageable size. My solution is to open up this second league table where albums can be promoted or relegated depending on the votes they get or I expect them to get.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
