The BBC has released some outstanding collections of live music and this is another to add to the list. The Michael Schenker period of UFO rightly receives a lot of attention but this shows that the band weren’t a spent force after he left.

Strangers In The Night is widely recognised as the classic live album by UFO but this is such exceptional value that this looks like an essential purchase for anyone with an interest in classic hard rock from the 1970s and ’80s. The only slight complication is that there are other live box sets by UFO which include some of these tracks.
