It was recorded at the Ardent Studios in Memphis, Tennessee in August 1972 and broadcast on the radio.
If you’re not familiar with the band, they were the backing band for Elton John and appeared on most of his early albums for DJM.
The band consisted of:
Caleb Quaye – guitars, piano and vocals
Ian Duck – vocals, guitars and harmonica
David Glover – bass
Roger Pope – drums
