It was recorded at the Osaka Festival Hall in Japan on the 10th, 11th and 14th June 1972.
It was released in Japan in 1975 and only received a worldwide release in 1996.

The band hadn’t been happy with the sound of the brass in particular on the sprawling Chicago Live At Carnegie Hall album recorded the year before.
This is much better and much more accessible for anyone interested in the sound of Chicago performing live in the early 1970s with Terry Kath.
