A Round and a Bout is a live album by British new wave group Squeeze, recorded in January 1990while the group was promoting their album called Frank.
Squeeze came to prominence with the punk/new wave movement in the late seventies and had success with both singles and albums. The band broke up in 1982 but came back together in 1985 but never recovered their prominence.
Nasty is the first live album released by funk group Cameo in 1996. On re-release in 2007, it has been called Nasty, Live & Funky in some parts of the world.
Filthy Lucre Live is a live album by the Sex Pistols recorded in London in June 1996 on their reunion world tour.
Now that doesn’t sound very punk does it?
In December 1991, after his revival with the Traveling Wilburys, Eric Clapton convinced former Beatle, George Harrison to go on tour in Japan. What happened is recorded on this Live In Japan album.
I ache for a live album from The Beatles recorded around 1969. I know it can’t happen because they gave up touring a few years earlier but I’d love to hear live versions of the songs from Revolver, Sergeant Pepper, The White Album, Abbey Road and Let It Be.
I came up with the idea of Paul McCartney plays The Beatles live because he regularly performs plenty of his classic tunes ad started to speculate on what songs I’d love to hear that John Lennon wrote. I didn’t really think about adding in George Harrison’s songs too but after hearing Live In Japan, I realise that was a mistake.
Cross Purposes Live is a Black Sabbath live album and DVD with Tony Martin on lead vocals and Bobby Rondinelli on drums from the 1995 tour.
Can it really be Black Sabbath without Ozzy Osbourne and Bill Ward?
Fans of the original Sabbath may much prefer to hear Reunion from the 1997 get back together tour or Live At Last.
Cross Purposes Live comes in various formats including a cut down 9 track DVD version. Be careful if you decide to buy it that you get the version you want.
Acoustic Live is an interesting and charming album from Nils Lofgren in 1997 as he follow on in the Unplugged tradition that became popular in the 1990s.
It was actually recorded at The Barns Of Wolftrap, Vienna in Virginia on January 18th, 1997.

Alive In Japan is a live album by art rock / pop rock band 10cc.
The live albums issued under the 10cc brand name are very confusing and it appears that Ali9ve in Japan is an extended version of 10cc Live.
This is another album by the Graham Gouldman and Eric Stewart version of the band so the emphasis is on melodic pop but without the earlier inventiveness that the original foursome created..
Blues From The Attic is a live album by the Climax Blues Band released in 1993.
One of the things that made the Climax Blues band popular in the early to mid seventies was the guitar playing of Peter Haycock. He doesn’t feature on this live album but you can hear his playing on FM Live.

10cc Live is a live album by 10cc. Like Live And Let Live, this is the 10cc with Godley & Creme.
This appears to be a cut-down, single disc version of 10cc Alive In Japan.
What You Hear is What You Get (contentiously subtitled the Best of Bad Company live) is a live album by Bad Company recorded in 1992 in California. Brian Howe is the lead singer and not Paul Rodgers.
This album very much revives the debate about when a group stops being the group promised by its brand name. For me, Bad Company has to include Paul Rodgers.
