The Action In Frisco The San Francisco Broadcast is an in concert live recording by Little Village featuring John Hiatt and Ry Cooder.
It was recorded at the Fox Warfield Theatre in San Francisco in 1992 and was broadcast on local radio. It has been released on the Sonic Boom label.

A Little Light Music is a live album by Jethro Tull.
It was recorded in Europe in May 1992 while the were experimenting by playing semi-acoustic. What does that mean? Martin Barre still sometimes used his electric guitar but a lot of the time, acoustic guitars are played.

The Way We Walk Volume Two: The Longs is the second live album to come from the 1992 tour to promote the studio album We Can’t Dance.
It was recorded at Niedersachsenstadion in Hannover, Germany on 10 July 1992 and 13 July 1992.
It compliments The Way We Walk Volume 1: The Shorts which had live versions of many of their hit singles.

When the Crowded House compilation Recurring Dream was first sold, there was the option of paying more to get a bonus CD of live recordings of the band.
Since there was no official live album, fans eagerly bought the double CD. Since then, we’ve had Farewell To The World, a recording from 1996 but I don’t play it as often as this one.

Live Alive Quo is a live album by British boogie rock band Status Quo.
It was recorded at The Party In The Park, Sutton Park, Birmingham in August 1992 in front of nearly 125,000 fans. The last three songs came from a 1990 concert at Wembley Stadium in London.
On The Night is a live album by Dire Straits.
It was recorded at Nîmes in France and Rotterdam in Holland in May 1992 while the group were promoting their final studio album On Every Street.It was released in May 1993.
Their first live album, Alchemy built on the success of the first four very goo studio albums. Then came the over-rated but immensely popular Brothers In Arms in 1985 and then a long wait before On Every Street was released in September 1991.
By then Dire Straits had lost their “coolness” if that’s the right word for what made them special. The On The Night live album has slipped into almost obscurity… an afterthought.
Set List
Four songs from On Every Street and four more from Brothers In Arms means that there are only two of their old classics that were also on Alchemy featured. It’s a shame that more songs weren’t added when the album was remastered to make it more representative of their concerts.

Paul Franklin – pedal steel guitar
Chris White – saxophone, flute, backing vocals
Alan Clark – keyboards
Guy Fletcher – keyboards, backing vocals
John Illsley – bass guitar, backing vocals
Chris Whitten – drums
Danny Cummings – percussion, backing vocals
This is a highly professional band and I particularly like the addition of saxophone and flute to the songs but then I do have a bias this way.
