Playing on the album are:
Chris Farlowe – Vocals
Dave “Clem” Clempson – Guitars, Vocals
Dick Heckstall-Smith – Saxophones
Dave Greenslade – Organ, Vibes
Mark Clarke – Bass, Vocals
Jon Hiseman: Drums
Instrumentally this is an exciting band with guitar, sax and organ all competing for attention. Chris Farlowe is a good singer but his vocals are stronger and more insistent than with many prog groups and you may love or hate his contribution. Personally I think it’s not a problem because this isn’t a symphonic prog band that can slip neatly into the background but one like King Crimson and Van Der Graaf Generator that demands to be heard.
