If you’ve read much on this website, you’ll know that I love the contrast between guitars and saxophones or flutes so this album suits me very well. It’s very smooth sounding without the harshness that brass instruments can add. The singing is pleasant without being remarkable but that’s common to the less well known prog rock bands of the early 1970s. The quality of instrument playing is high and that’s particularly to the fore in the 20 minute mainly instrumental What Did I Say About The Box Jack?
If are one of the less well known gems of the period and deserve to be remembered and treasured.
