Free Live At The BBC is a disappointing compilation of live in the studio recordings made by the blues rock group Free.
Thank goodness for mp3 downloads because it gives you the chance to access the live in concert tracks on the box set Songs Of Yesterday by blues rock group Free.
I said that I wanted more when I wrote my Free Live review.
The tracks on Songs Of Yesterday weren’t considered to be good enough for public release because of various minor recording problems. Technology now means that they can be cleaned up and we can experience the genius that is Free live.
Free Live is a live album by the British blues rock group Free with Paul Rodgers as the singer and Paul Kossoff on guitar from concerts in 1970.
It was originally released with eight tracks and it has since been reissued with 15 including alternative versions of All Right Now, Mr Big and Get Where I Belong.
In Concert : Merchants of Cool is a live album and DVD by the Paul Rodgers version of Bad Company on their American tour in 2002.
The album also includes two new studio songs Joe Fabulous and
Saving Grace.
Live In Glasgow is a live album and DVD of a concert by Paul Rodgers on 13th October 2006, very much focused on his days in Free.
Rodgers is in great voice and the album leans heavily on his days in Free and Bad Company.
Live in Albuquerque is a live album by Bad Company of a concert in March 1976 which was withdrawn shortly after its release in 2006. They were promoting their third album, Run With The Pack.
This is a shame because classic rock lovers and in particular Bad Company fans need a live album of the group in their prime.
