It was recorded in the Gdańsk Shipyard with the Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra in Gdańsk on August 26, 2006.

Talking of Floyd, Richard Wright is playing keyboards so with have half of the musicians responsible for Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You were Here and The Wall. Phil Manzanera from Roxy Music also features on guitar and vocals.

As always, Gilmour is an extremely tasteful guitar player. I’m never sure about the quality of his technique compared to other greats but he excels at playing the perfect notes for the perfect length of time.
