1975 was the year when two of the most successful, career changing live albums were recorded – Frampton Comes Alive and Kiss Alive – although they were not released on the unsuspecting public until 1976. The history of rock music was changed and the live album floodgates opened even more.
It also includes two live albums that I highly recommend, Bruce Springsteen at Hammersmith Odeon and the J Geils Band who wanted to Blow Your Face Out.
The live albums recorded in 1975 include:

Jack Bruce Spirit Live at the BBC is a collection of recordings made by the BBC live in concert and live in the studio between 1971 and 1978.
While Jack Bruce is best known as the singer and bass player for blues rock band Cream, in the 1970s he played with the fusion between jazz, blues and rock.
His 1971 In Concert recording has already been released and there is another live album of his 1975 tour with Mick Taylor called Live At Manchester Free Trade Hall 1975. It has another concert recording from 1977.

UFO On Air At The BBC 1974 – 1985 is a collection of audio and visual recordings made by the BBC.

The Jack Bruce Band Live ’75 also known as Live At Manchester Free Trade Hall 1975 is a live album That also features Mick Taylor on lead guitar.
It was recorded on June 1, 1975.
Mick Taylor is one of my favourite guitarists and his time with the Jack Bruce band was spent while Bruce was experimenting with a kind of progressive jazz rock fusion style that’s a long way away from his time with Cream.

I’ve been slow to feature the recording of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band performing live in concert at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania on
December 31, 1975 released by http://live.brucespringsteen.net.
That’s because I’ve ticked off 1975 in my mind with the excellent Hammersmith Odeon recording and an album from the 1980 tour promoting The River was my highest priority. I must be getting complacent but there was little on there that screamed “You Must Have It” in my mind.

Magma Live or Hhai is a live album by French progressive rock band Magma.
It was recorded at the Taverne de l’Olympia in Paris at the concerts performed from the 1st to 5th June 1975 and was released later the same year.
While talented musicians, Magma are a bit odd because they invented a new language Kobaian and use it for most of their lyrics.
Dreaming Of The Prophet is a live recording by Patti Smith.
It was recorded at the Bottom Line club in Greenwich Village, New York City on December 27th, 1975 and broadcast by the WNEW-FM radio station.
Patti Smith charms in this small, intimate club and her personality and raw talent shine through. Her debut album Horses was released on December 13th, 1975, just 14 days before this concert.

This album starts with Patti Smith on stage on her own, working on a new idea where she performs some of her poetry and gives the audience a chance to ask her questions. While I won’t play this part of the album as often as the section with her band, it is charming and really shows off her personality.
The band performance starts from track 6 with We’re Gonna Have a Real Good Time which is extremely appropriate. It’s a fiery, passionate performance that’s full of energy and you can understand how she helped to inspire the American side of punk rock.
I’ve bought several Patti Smith studio albums in the past – Horses and Easter – and I hadn’t heard much to get excited about. Harsh and I’ll admit that I didn’t work too hard to get to know the albums. This has made me a convert and I’m looking for another live recording to buy. Fortunately there is plenty to choose from.

Melanie On Air BBC Live in Concert is a collection of live recordings of Melanie Safka, an American singer-songwriter who has been largely overlooked in music history.
In the late 1960s she was quite a big star and performed at both Woodstock and the famous British equivalent, the 1970 Isle of Wight festival. For more details see Wikipedia.
