Jeff Buckley was the son of singer-songwriter Tim Buckley from the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Jeff created a classic studio album called Grace which was released in August 1994 to massive critical acclaim but has he recorded a great live album? Sadly the time available was limited as he died on May 29, 1997 from accidental drowning.
Live albums have an important part to play in telling the story of Jeff Buckley and how his one studio album, Grace emerged, as well as providing plenty of interesting covers of songs by other artists.

Both Tim Buckley and his son Jeff Buckley died at a tragically young age when they had produced some exceptional music.
Neither has enough live albums to really justify a poll on their own so I thought I’d combine them.
It seems unfair to set father and son competing against each other but there are similarities in style that bind them together even though they are separated by twenty odd years.

Live At L’Olympia is a live album by alternative rock singer songwriter Jeff Buckley recorded in concert at Paris Olympia in July 1995.
This album was released posthumously after his death.
Live At Sin-E was originally a live EP by Jeff Buckley but it has since been expanded to a double CD and DVD of this performance from July 1993 at the Sin-E a coffee shop in New York.
