Dexys Midnight Runners At The Royal Court is a live album and DVD.
It was recorded at The Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool on November 7th 2003.
Dexy’s broke up in 1986 and Kevin Rowland tried to develop a solo career. The band reformed in April 2003 and released a greatest hits album with two new songs – Manhood and My Life in England. They toured and this live album is the result.
It wasn’t until 2012 that we finally had another studio album, One Day I’m Going To Soar.

It’s quite common these days for classic albums to be re-issued with live bonus tracks but rarely do bands take this extra step of issuing the new tracks as an album on their own.

It was recorded in London on the 24th and 27th April 2013.
The first part of the live set is a performance of their 2012 studio album, One Day I’m Going To Soar while the second part reworks some of their older songs, excluding all hits with the exception of Geno.

It was recorded in Newcastle on June 26, 1982 and broadcast on the radio.
This concert has also been released on the two CD deluxe version of Too-Rye-Ay and on a single CD called Too-Rye-Ay Rarities Edition.
