Tom Petty Live To Air is a radio broadcast that has been released as a live album by The Store For Music label. It was recorded in Buffalo in July 1986 and also features Bob Dylan.
This is not officially recognised by Tom Petty but (I think) it squeezes through the copyright laws in Europe.

It’s OK but nothing special except for the “playing with Bobn Dylan” issue which I’m sure made the concert very special for anyone who was there.
The sound is a bit subdued but you can hear the mp3 samples at amazon.co.uk which lets you judge for yourself whether it’s good enough.
My view is that you have to be a big Tom Petty fan to buy this because casual fans are going to be better off with Pack Up The Plantation or Live Anthology.
