My classic rock section consists of albums that are generally successful and don’t belong in one of the more specialised categories. Often groups will start in one category and as they become more successful, they broaden out their sound and become classic rock.

Too-Rye-Ay Deluxe Rarities is an album of mainly live recording bonuses included in the Deluxe Version of Too-Rye-Ay by Dexy’s Midnight Runners.
It’s quite common these days for classic albums to be re-issued with live bonus tracks but rarely do bands take this extra step of issuing the new tracks as an album on their own.

Live At The BBC Super Deluxe Box Set by Thin Lizzy is a comprehensive collection of recordings made by the BBC between 1971 to 1983. It includes six CDs and a DVD.
There is also a double CD album called Thin Lizzy Live At The BBC which has the highlights from this larger box set and concentrates on their early career before The Boys Are Back In Town.
